Connect Google Analytics
Connect a Google Analytics 4 property to see visits and conversions by channel, with AI assistants counted on their own.
5 minPlan: Growth and above
Connecting Google Analytics 4 shows how many people reach your website from each channel, which pages they land on and how many convert, with visits from AI assistants such as ChatGPT and Perplexity counted separately. The data powers Channels to revenue, Ask your data and personas built from real data.
Luciqo only asks Google for read-only access. It never changes anything in your Google Analytics.
Before you start
- A Growth, Pro or Agency plan.
- A Google account that can view the brand's Google Analytics 4 property.
- The brand set up in Luciqo.
Connect your Google account
- Open your brand and click Connections in the sidebar.
- Find the Google Analytics 4 card.
- Click Connect Google Analytics.
- Sign in to Google with the account that can see the brand's analytics, and approve read-only access.
- You come back to Connections with the message "Google account connected. Now choose a property."
Choose the property
- On the Google Analytics 4 card, Luciqo loads the properties your Google account can see.
- Under Which Google Analytics property belongs to this brand?, pick the right property from the list.
- Click Use this property.
The first sync starts straight away and usually takes a minute or two. The card then shows Connected, the property name and Last sync.
If the list is empty, the Google account you used can't see any GA4 properties. Click Disconnect and connect again with another account.
Sync your data
Each sync saves a dated snapshot of the last 180 days, shown under Data pulls on the Connections page. The table lists the Source, Period, Status (Running, Ready or Failed) and What came in, such as sessions, AI sessions, AI share and conversions.
- All active connections refresh automatically every Monday.
- To refresh now, click Sync now on the card. The page updates by itself while the sync runs.
- You can't start a new sync while one is running, or within 10 minutes of the last one.
Change or disconnect
- To use a different property, click Change property, pick another one and click Use this property.
- To stop syncing, click Disconnect and confirm. Luciqo deletes its access to Google. Past data pulls stay until you delete them.
- To remove the data itself, use Delete all Google Analytics data under Data pulls, or Delete next to a single pull, then Yes, delete.
You can also remove Luciqo's access from your Google account's security settings at any time.
If something goes wrong
- "Google didn't give us lasting access": open your Google account's security page, remove Luciqo from the apps with access, then connect again.
- "Google sign-in was cancelled": click Connect Google Analytics to try again.
- "The last sync didn't work": the card shows the reason. Fix it, then click Sync now.
About your visitors' privacy
Luciqo keeps daily totals by channel, source and landing page. It doesn't store names, emails or phone numbers, and personal data stays in your own Google Analytics.
