Ask your data

Ask plain-English questions about your traffic, channels, pages, leads and customers, and get answers counted from your connected data.

5 minPlan: Growth and above

Ask your data lets you ask questions about a brand's traffic, channels, pages, leads and customers in plain English. Luciqo counts the numbers from your connected data first, then explains them, so every figure comes with its source. It's a quick way to answer a client's question without building a report.

Before you start

  • A Growth, Pro or Agency plan.
  • At least one connected source with a finished data pull: Google Analytics, Matomo or HubSpot.
  • For questions about leads, customers and revenue: HubSpot connected (Pro and above).

Ask a question

  1. Open your brand and click Ask your data in the sidebar.
  2. If nothing is connected yet, you'll see Connect your data first. Click Go to Connections, connect a source, and wait for the first data pull.
  3. Type your question in the box, for example "Which landing pages convert best, and from which channels?"
  4. Click Ask. Answers usually take 10 to 30 seconds.

Under the box, Using lists the sources your answers draw on. If HubSpot isn't connected, it reminds you that connecting it lets you ask about leads, customers and revenue.

Start from a suggestion

Not sure what to ask? Under Try one of these, click a suggested question. The suggestions depend on what you've connected. For example:

  • "Which channels bring the most visits and conversions?"
  • "Which sources send visitors from AI assistants, and do they convert?"
  • "Which first-touch channels bring the most customers and revenue?" (with HubSpot)
  • "How long does it take a lead to become a customer, by channel?" (with HubSpot)
  • "How many visitors use more than one channel before converting?" (with Matomo)

Read the answer

Each answer shows the question, when you asked it, the explanation and the figures behind it, with a Source line naming the data it came from. If nothing matches, Luciqo says "No data was found for this question" rather than guessing.

Under the newest answer, Ask next suggests follow-up questions. Click one to ask it straight away.

Your latest answers are shown in full. Older ones are folded away: click Show answer to open one.

Use answers in client reports

  1. Next to an answer, click Add to client report. It changes to In client report.
  2. Open Client report in the sidebar. The answers you added appear in the Data insights section.
  3. Click In client report again to take an answer out.

To remove an answer from the page altogether, click Delete.

Tips for good questions

  • Name the period if it matters: "last month", "the last 90 days".
  • Ask about one thing at a time, then use Ask next to dig deeper.
  • Ask about channels, sources, landing pages, months, industries or job titles. These are the facts Luciqo keeps from your data.
  • Answers can only cover the dates in your latest data pull, which is the last 180 days by default.
