Terms and Conditions
Last updated 23 October 2026
In short: these terms are the agreement between your business and Virtuance Digital Marketing Ltd for using Luciqo. They explain how plans, tokens and billing work, what you and we are each responsible for, and the limits of what AI-generated results can promise. Luciqo is for business use only, and you can cancel at any time from your Billing page.
1. About us and these terms
1.1 Luciqo (the website and platform at luciqo.ai, including app.luciqo.ai) is operated by Virtuance Digital Marketing Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales ("Luciqo", "we", "us", "our").
1.5 These terms apply to everyone who creates an account, buys a plan or otherwise uses the Service. By creating an account, starting a free snapshot or buying a plan, you accept these terms on behalf of the business you represent ("you", "your"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1.6 You can contact us at contact@luciqo.ai.
2. Definitions
2.1 In these terms:
- Service means the Luciqo website, platform, API, reports, share links and any related features we provide.
- Account means the account you create to use the Service, including any workspaces within it.
- Workspace means an area of your Account that holds one or more brands, team members and connections.
- Plan means the subscription you choose (Starter, Growth, Pro or Agency) as described on our pricing page.
- Token means one unit of usage: one buyer question answered by one AI assistant.
- GEO article means an article written with AI by the Service to help your brand appear in AI assistant answers ("generative engine optimisation").
- Top-up means extra tokens or GEO articles you buy in addition to your Plan allowance.
- Customer Data means the information you or your users put into the Service or allow it to access, including brand profiles, buyer questions, competitor lists and data from Connected Sources.
- Connected Source means a third-party service you choose to connect, such as Google Analytics 4, Matomo or HubSpot.
- Output means results the Service produces for you, such as AI answers, analysis, scores, GEO articles, personas, avatars, reputation reports, "Ask your data" answers and PDF reports.
- AI Providers means the third-party AI assistants we use, including OpenAI ChatGPT, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini and Perplexity.
- Authorised User means a person you allow to use your Account, such as a team member using one of your seats.
3. Accounts and eligibility
3.1 The Service is for business and professional use only. It is not intended for consumers acting for purposes outside their trade, business or profession.
3.2 You must be at least 18 years old and have authority to accept these terms for your business.
3.3 You must give us accurate account and billing information and keep it up to date.
3.4 You are responsible for your Account and everything done through it. Keep your login details secure, make sure each Authorised User has their own login, and tell us straight away at contact@luciqo.ai if you think your Account has been accessed without permission.
3.5 Each Plan includes a set number of team seats: Starter 2, Growth 5, Pro 10 and Agency unlimited. You are responsible for your Authorised Users' use of the Service and for making sure they follow these terms.
4. Free snapshot
4.1 New sign-ups can run a free snapshot that shows how AI assistants currently talk about a brand. The snapshot is limited in scope and is provided so you can try the Service.
4.2 The free snapshot is provided "as is". We may change, limit or withdraw it at any time, and we may refuse a snapshot where we reasonably suspect misuse, such as repeated sign-ups to obtain more free usage.
4.3 Some features, such as live share links, are only available on paid Plans.
5. Plans, tokens and top-ups
5.1 Our current Plans and monthly prices are:
| Plan | Monthly price | Team seats |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | £49 | 2 |
| Growth | £149 | 5 |
| Pro | £399 | 10 |
| Agency | £99 plus £89 per client brand | Unlimited |
5.2 Prices are in pounds sterling and exclude VAT where VAT applies. The pricing page sets out what each Plan includes. If our pricing page and these terms differ on a Plan's features, the pricing page at the time you bought or renewed applies.
5.3 You can choose monthly or annual billing. Annual billing is offered at a discount of around 20% and is billed yearly in advance.
5.4 Each Plan includes a monthly allowance of tokens and GEO articles. Your Plan allowance resets at the start of each billing period. Unused Plan allowance does not roll over to the next period.
5.5 You can buy top-ups at any time. Current top-ups are:
| Top-up | Price |
|---|---|
| 500 tokens | £39 |
| 1,500 tokens | £99 |
| 5 GEO articles | £25 |
| 20 GEO articles | £79 |
5.6 Top-ups are kept until used for as long as your subscription is active. If your subscription ends, any unused top-ups end with it and are not refunded, except where the law requires.
5.7 When your Plan allowance runs out, features that use tokens or GEO articles will use your top-ups, if you have any, and otherwise pause until your next billing period or until you buy more.
6. Billing, payment and taxes
6.1 Payments are processed by Stripe. By buying a Plan or top-up, you authorise us and Stripe to charge your chosen payment method.
6.2 Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) at the then-current price, until you cancel.
6.3 Plan changes, up or down, take effect immediately. We charge or credit the prorated difference for the rest of the current billing period straight away. If you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for.
6.4 Fees are payable in advance. Except where the law requires, fees are non-refundable and we do not give refunds or credits for partial billing periods, unused allowance or unused top-ups.
6.5 You are responsible for all taxes that apply to your purchases, other than taxes on our income. Where we must charge VAT, we will add it to the price at the applicable rate. If you are outside the UK, you may need to account for VAT or similar taxes yourself.
6.6 If a payment fails, we will try to tell you and may retry the payment. If payment is still not made, we may suspend paid features or your Account under clause 18 until the amount is paid.
7. Changes to prices
7.1 We may change our prices from time to time. We will give you at least 30 days' notice by email before a price change affects your subscription.
7.2 A price change will apply from your next renewal after the notice period ends. If you do not want to pay the new price, you can cancel before it takes effect.
7.3 Price changes do not affect top-ups you have already bought.
8. Cancellation and termination
8.1 You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Billing page in your Account, which opens our Stripe customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep access to paid features until then.
8.2 We may end these terms or your access to the Service:
- on at least 30 days' notice by email, for any reason; or
- immediately by notice if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms (including the Acceptable Use Policy), fail to pay fees that are due, or become insolvent or stop trading.
8.3 If we end your subscription under the first point of clause 8.2 without you being at fault, we will refund any fees you have paid in advance for the period after it ends.
8.4 When your subscription ends, your access to paid features stops. You should download any Output you want to keep before then. We will delete or anonymise your Customer Data in line with our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Addendum.
8.5 Clauses that by their nature should continue after these terms end will continue, including those on fees owed, intellectual property, confidentiality, liability, indemnity and governing law.
9. Customer Data and licences
9.1 You own your Customer Data. We do not claim ownership of it.
9.2 You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, copy, process, transmit and display your Customer Data only as needed to provide, secure, support and improve the Service, and as described in our Privacy Policy.
9.3 To produce results, the Service sends your buyer questions and relevant brand profile details to AI Providers through their APIs. Under their API terms, these providers do not use API data to train their models by default.
9.4 You are responsible for your Customer Data. You confirm that you have all rights, permissions and lawful bases needed for us to use it to provide the Service, and that it does not break any law or anyone else's rights.
9.5 We may use aggregated and anonymised information about how the Service is used, which does not identify you or any individual, to run, analyse and improve the Service.
9.6 As between you and us, you own the Output we produce for you, to the extent the law allows. You may use Output for your own business and, for Agency customers, your clients' businesses. Because AI systems can produce similar results for different users, we cannot promise that Output is unique.
10. AI output disclaimer
10.1 Luciqo uses AI to ask questions, analyse answers and write content. AI answers, analysis and generated content, including GEO articles, personas, avatars, reputation reports and "Ask your data" answers, may be inaccurate, incomplete, out of date or inconsistent.
10.2 You must review all Output before you publish it, rely on it or share it, and check that it is accurate, suitable and lawful for your purpose. You are responsible for anything you choose to publish.
10.3 Results depend on third-party AI systems that we do not control. AI Providers may change their models, answers, sources and behaviour at any time, and the same question can produce different answers at different times.
10.4 We do not guarantee any particular result. In particular, we do not guarantee that your brand will be mentioned or recommended by any AI assistant, or that you will achieve any ranking, visibility, traffic, leads or revenue.
10.5 Personas are AI-generated, fictional profiles to help you think about your buyers. Any cartoon avatars are illustrations and do not depict real people.
11. Third-party services and connections
11.1 You can choose to connect Connected Sources, such as Google Analytics 4 (read-only, using Google sign-in), Matomo (using an API token you provide) and HubSpot (using HubSpot sign-in). Connecting a source is optional.
11.2 When you connect a source, you authorise us to access it to analyse your channels, journeys and revenue, and to answer your "Ask your data" questions. We store only pseudonymised and aggregated journey and analytics data. We never store contact names or email addresses from your CRM or analytics. Access tokens are encrypted at rest.
11.3 You can delete a data pull and disconnect any source at any time. Disconnecting stops further syncing.
11.4 Your use of third-party services, including AI Providers, Connected Sources and Stripe, is also subject to those providers' own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability or changes they make, and we may need to change or remove features if a provider changes or withdraws its service.
12. Acceptable use
12.1 You and your Authorised Users must use the Service in line with our Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these terms.
13. API and share links
13.1 Agency customers can use our API with API keys. API keys can be restricted to one brand and are rate limited. We may change rate limits to protect the Service.
13.2 You are responsible for keeping your API keys secret and for all activity using them. If you think a key has been exposed, revoke it in your Account straight away.
13.3 You can create live share links to reports. Anyone with a share link can view the report it points to without logging in. You are responsible for deciding who you share links with and for what the shared report contains. You can revoke a share link at any time.
14. Agency and white-label use
14.1 If you use the Agency Plan to manage brands for your clients, you are responsible for your clients and for your relationship with them, including what you promise them and how you charge them.
14.2 You confirm that you have each client's permission to set up their brand in Luciqo, to connect their data sources and to share their data with us, and that you have the rights needed for us to process their data.
14.3 Your clients are not parties to these terms and have no rights against us under them. You must not make any promise to a client on our behalf.
14.4 You may present reports and Output to your clients under your own brand where the Service allows it, but you must not remove our ownership notices from the Service itself or suggest that you own the Service.
15. Intellectual property
15.1 We and our licensors own all rights in the Service, including our software, design, text, branding, methods and documentation. Apart from the rights set out in these terms, we do not grant you any rights in them.
15.2 We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right, for as long as your subscription is active, to use the Service for your internal business purposes and, for Agency customers, to serve your clients.
15.3 If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them freely without any obligation to you.
16. Confidentiality
16.1 Each of us may receive confidential information from the other, such as business plans, Customer Data, pricing or non-public product information. Each of us will keep the other's confidential information secret, use it only to perform these terms, and share it only with staff, advisers and subcontractors who need it and are bound by similar duties.
16.2 This does not apply to information that is or becomes public through no fault of the receiving party, that the receiving party already had or develops independently, or that must be disclosed by law or a regulator, in which case the receiving party will give notice where allowed.
17. Data protection
17.1 We handle personal data in line with UK data protection law. Our Privacy Policy explains how we use personal data about you and your Authorised Users, for which we are the controller.
17.2 Where you connect sources or upload data that contains personal data, you are the controller and we are your processor. Our Data Processing Addendum applies to that processing and forms part of these terms.
18. Suspension
18.1 We may suspend all or part of your access to the Service, with notice where reasonably possible, if:
- you have not paid fees that are due;
- we reasonably believe you or an Authorised User have broken these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy;
- your use poses a security risk or could harm the Service, other customers, AI Providers or third parties; or
- we are required to by law or by a provider we rely on.
18.2 We will restore access once the reason for suspension has been resolved. Fees continue to be due during a suspension caused by you.
19. Warranties and disclaimers
19.1 We will provide the Service with reasonable skill and care. If the Service does not do so, please tell us and we will make reasonable efforts to fix it.
19.2 We aim to keep the Service available, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may carry out maintenance and make changes to features from time to time. We will not remove a core feature of your Plan during a period you have paid for without telling you.
19.3 Except as set out in these terms, and to the extent the law allows, the Service and Output are provided "as is", and all other warranties, conditions and terms, whether express or implied, are excluded.
20. Limitation of liability
20.1 Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law.
20.2 Subject to clause 20.1, neither of us is liable to the other for any loss of profits, revenue, sales, business, goodwill, anticipated savings or data, or for any indirect or consequential loss, however it arises.
20.3 Subject to clause 20.1, our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or in connection with these terms or the Service, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, is limited to the total fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
20.4 We are not liable for any delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control, including failures of AI Providers, hosting providers, Connected Sources, the internet or power supplies.
21. Indemnity
21.1 You will compensate us for any claims, losses, damages, costs and reasonable legal fees we incur as a result of a third-party claim arising from your Customer Data, content you publish using Output, your breach of these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, or, for Agency customers, a claim by your client.
21.2 We will tell you promptly about any such claim, let you control its defence where reasonable, and give you reasonable help at your cost.
22. Changes to these terms
22.1 We may update these terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes to the Service or the law. The date at the top shows when they were last updated.
22.2 If we make a change that materially affects you, we will tell you by email or in the Service at least 30 days before it takes effect, unless the change is needed sooner for legal or security reasons. If you do not agree, you can cancel before the change takes effect. If you keep using the Service after that, the updated terms apply.
23. Notices
23.1 We will send notices to the email address on your Account, or show them in the Service. Please send notices to us at contact@luciqo.ai.
23.2 An email notice is treated as received at the time it is sent, unless the sender receives a message that it was not delivered.
24. General
24.1 You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our written consent. We may transfer our rights to a business that takes over all or part of the Service, and we will tell you if we do.
24.2 These terms, together with the documents they refer to, are the whole agreement between us about the Service.
24.3 If any part of these terms is found to be invalid, the rest will continue to apply. If we do not enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later.
24.4 No one other than you and us has any right to enforce these terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
25. Governing law and jurisdiction
25.1 These terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or the Service, are governed by the law of England and Wales.
25.2 The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any such dispute or claim.
26. Contact
