Getting started with Luciqo
Create your account, add your first brand and run your first AI visibility analysis across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity.
10 minPlan: All plans, including the Free Snapshot
Luciqo asks ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity the questions your buyers ask, then shows whether each one recommends you, who it recommends instead, and which websites it trusts. This tutorial takes you from a new account to your first set of results.
Every new account starts on the Free Snapshot: one brand, up to 10 buyer questions and 40 tokens, which is enough for one full analysis (10 questions on 4 AI engines). Automatic weekly tracking, the GEO Writer and live share links come with a paid plan.
Before you start
- An email address you can open straight away, to confirm your account.
- Your brand's name and website.
- A rough idea of who you compete with. You can leave this to Luciqo if you prefer.
Create your account
- Go to the sign-up page. Under Create your account, fill in Full name, Email and Password (at least 8 characters).
- Click Create account. Luciqo shows a message asking you to check your inbox.
- Open the email and click the link to confirm your account. You land on Home.
If you already have an account, use Log in instead. If you forget your password, the login page has a link to reset it.
Add your first brand
- On Home, click Add brand (or Add your first brand if the page is empty).
- Under Your brand, fill in Brand name and Website. Use the name buyers know you by, not your legal company name. What you do, in a sentence or two is optional but helps.
- Under Your market, choose Type of business, then add Also known as (nicknames, sub-brands or products, separated by commas) and Sector if they apply.
- Choose your Country and Language.
- Under Where do you sell?, pick the option that fits: Local, Regional, National, International or Global. If you chose local or regional, fill in Based in with your town, city or area, so buyer questions mention that place.
- Under Competitors (optional), add up to five competitors with their websites, or leave them empty. Use Add another competitor for more rows.
- Click Save brand.
If you left competitors empty, the brand page opens and Luciqo starts suggesting competitors for you. Pick the ones you want with Track all or one by one, or add your own under Competitors you track.
Choose your buyer questions
- Scroll down to Buyer questions on the brand page.
- Click Suggest questions with AI. It takes about 20 seconds and costs no tokens.
- Tick the questions you want to track. The counter shows Tracking x of y for your plan.
- Click Save tracked questions.
For help picking good questions, see Choosing buyer questions.
Run your first analysis
- Go to the AI visibility analysis panel (or use the button at the top of the brand page). It shows how many questions you track, how many AI engines will answer them, and how many tokens that will use. One token is one question answered by one AI engine.
- Click Run analysis.
- Wait while Luciqo asks each engine. The panel shows how many answers are in, and the page updates by itself. It usually takes one to three minutes.
If an engine fails to answer, the tokens for those answers are returned to your balance automatically.
Find your way around
When you open a brand, the sidebar lists everything for that brand: AI visibility, Brand ranker, Progress, Reputation, GEO Writer, Get cited elsewhere, Personas, Connections, Channels to revenue, Ask your data, Client report and Brand profile.
The top of the sidebar holds your account pages: Home, Brands, Report branding, Team, Billing and usage and Agency API. Your token and GEO credit balances are always shown at the bottom of the sidebar.
On a paid plan, turn on Run automatically every week in the Automatic tracking panel, then pick a day and hour (UK time). Your progress then builds up without you having to remember to run it.
