Writing content with the GEO Writer

Use the GEO Writer to plan, write and improve pages that AI engines want to quote, then track whether they start recommending you.

10 minPlan: All paid plans

The GEO Writer researches a buyer question, checks what AI engines answer today and which sources they trust, then writes content built to be quoted: a direct answer, key points, an FAQ, schema markup and SEO details. It can write a new piece or improve a page you already have.

Each piece uses one GEO credit and includes two free revisions. Paid plans include GEO credits every month (Starter 2, Growth 8, Pro 25, Agency 2 per client brand), and you can buy more as top-ups.

Before you start

  • A paid plan. The GEO Writer is included from Starter.
  • At least one finished analysis, so Luciqo knows which questions you're losing.
  • A completed brand profile. See Setting up your brand profile. The writer uses it automatically, and results are much better when it is at least half complete.

Decide what to write

  1. Open your brand and click GEO Writer in the sidebar.
  2. Check the tiles at the top: Credits left, Pieces written, Questions you're missing and Sites AI cites.
  3. Under Content plan, click Build my content plan (free). In about 30 seconds Luciqo groups the questions you're losing into the fewest pages that can win them, in order of priority.
  4. Next to the topic you want, click Write this.

You can also start from the brand page: any question where AI doesn't recommend you has a Write content button in the results table.

Write a new piece

  1. On Write content, keep Write new content selected.
  2. Check Question or topic to answer. If you came from a tracked question, the writer also sees what AI engines answer today and who they recommend.
  3. Choose a Length and a Call to action.
  4. Optionally, add anything specific for this piece in Anything specific for this piece?, such as a recent result or a new offer.
  5. Optionally, open Advanced (set automatically from the question) to change Content type, Buyer stage, Search intent, Tone, Who is it for?, Must cover and Your pages to link to (up to 10 full links).
  6. Click Write it. The form shows "Uses 1 credit" and how many you have left.

Writing usually takes three to five minutes. You can leave the page; the piece appears in Your content when it's ready. If it fails, the credit is returned.

Improve an existing page

  1. On Write content, choose Improve an existing page.
  2. Paste the link in Page to improve.
  3. Fill in The buyer question this page should win.
  4. Click Improve it.

Luciqo reads the page, keeps its accurate facts and rewrites it for the question. You'll see the page before and after.

Review and publish

When the piece is ready, you'll find:

  • The article with its Frequently asked questions.
  • Quotable: what AI engines can lift as it is, with The direct answer and Key points.
  • Schema markup to paste into the page's HTML, with Copy schema.
  • Sources, marked as cited in the article or used for research only.
  • GEO readiness, a checklist to publish with.
  • Before you publish, with SEO details: title tag, meta description, URL and keywords.
  • Claims check, listing anything softened or left out because it couldn't be backed up, and assumptions to check.

Use Copy as Markdown or Copy as HTML to paste it into your website.

To change it, open Revise, pick a quick option such as Make it shorter and tighter or type what to change, then click Revise. Each piece includes two free revisions.

Track whether it worked

  1. Once the page is live, click I've published it.
  2. Paste the link of the published page, set the date and click Save.

Luciqo logs it on your Progress page and, under Did it work?, shows whether AI engines start citing the page and recommending you in later analyses. AI engines usually take two to six weeks to find and use a new page.

Get cited on other websites

Click Get cited elsewhere in the sidebar to see the websites AI engines cite for your buyer questions. Click Write outreach pack next to a site to get research on the site, the best approach, a pitch email and the piece to send. Each pack uses one GEO credit.
