Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated 23 October 2026

In short: use Luciqo lawfully, honestly and in a way that does not harm others or the platform. Do not use it to mislead people, misuse other people's data or overload the AI assistants we connect to. If you break these rules, we may suspend or close your account.

1. About this policy

1.1 This Acceptable Use Policy applies to everyone who uses Luciqo, including the website and platform at luciqo.ai (including app.luciqo.ai), the API and share links (the "Service"). It forms part of our Terms and Conditions.

1.2 You are responsible for making sure that your team members, and for Agency customers your clients, follow this policy when using your account.

2. Lawful and honest use

2.1 You must not use the Service to:

  • break any law or regulation, including consumer protection, advertising, competition, data protection and intellectual property law;
  • create or publish content that is false or misleading, including fake reviews, fake testimonials or false claims about your own or another business;
  • defame, harass, threaten or discriminate against any person or business;
  • impersonate any person or business, or suggest a connection with one that does not exist;
  • create content that is hateful, violent, sexually explicit or otherwise harmful; or
  • promote illegal products or services, scams or fraud.

3. Brands, competitors and data

3.1 You must only set up brands that you own or that you have permission to manage. You may track how AI assistants describe competitors, but you must not use the Service to run campaigns that spread false information about them.

3.2 You must only connect data sources and add data that you have the right to use. You must not add special category personal data (such as health information) or criminal offence data to the Service.

3.3 Please avoid putting personal data about individuals into buyer questions, brand profiles or "Ask your data" questions unless it is needed.

3.4 Personas and avatars must not be used to represent or imitate real, identifiable people.

4. AI output

4.1 You must review AI-generated content, including GEO articles, before publishing it, and check that it is accurate and lawful.

4.2 You must not publish AI-generated content in a way that misleads readers, such as presenting fictional facts, statistics or expert opinions as real.

4.3 You must not use the Service, or any AI provider through it, in a way that breaks the AI providers' own usage policies. This includes trying to get AI assistants to produce harmful content, or trying to bypass their safety measures.

5. Protecting the Service

5.1 You must not:

  • try to access accounts, workspaces, data or systems you are not authorised to access;
  • probe, scan or test the security of the Service without our written permission;
  • upload viruses, malware or harmful code;
  • interfere with or disrupt the Service, other customers or the AI providers we use;
  • scrape, copy or extract the Service or its data by automated means, except through our API as permitted;
  • reverse engineer, decompile or copy the Service, or use it to build a competing product;
  • get around usage limits, token allowances, seat limits or rate limits, for example by creating several accounts or sharing logins; or
  • resell or provide access to the Service to others, except as an Agency customer serving your own clients.

6.1 Keep API keys secret. Do not put them in public code, websites or apps. Use brand-restricted keys where you can, and revoke any key you think has been exposed.

6.2 Stay within the API rate limits, and do not use the API to send unreasonable volumes of requests.

6.3 Share report links only with people who should see them. Revoke links you no longer need.

7. Reporting misuse

7.1 If you become aware of misuse of the Service, or of a security issue, please tell us at contact@luciqo.ai.

8. What happens if this policy is broken

8.1 If we reasonably believe this policy has been broken, we may remove content, revoke API keys or share links, suspend features, or suspend or close your account, as set out in our Terms and Conditions. Where reasonable, we will contact you first and give you a chance to put things right.

8.2 We may report illegal activity to the relevant authorities.

8.3 We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
